Collection

The library has a rich collection of books, Journals, Maps, Microfiche, CDs, Theses, and Dissertations. A good number of books are added every year.  The collection of books has now crossed 3.5 Lakhs and continues to grow at the rate of more than 5000 titles annually. Bound volumes more than 1000 journal titles take pride of place of the collection. The library subscribes to 43 foreign Journals, over 400 Indian periodicals, 35 popular magazines and 20 Newspapers.

Besides catering to the academic needs of students and faculty members of the university, the Library also has a profound collection of reference sources such as Encyclopedias (General subjects), Dictionaries, Almanacs, Year books, directories, Census Reports, Technical Reports, Books in Prints, Bibliographies,  Biographical Sources, geographical sources, handbooks, manuals and current sources.
