Retirement Function at Kerala University Library
The Kerala University Library, Thiruvananthapuram, organized a retirement function on 30th May 2026 at the Library Hall to honour Sri. Anilkumar R, University Librarian in Charge, and Sri. Gopikuttan Nair M, Deputy Librarian, on their superannuation.

Release of Kerala University Library Staff Directory
The Kerala University Library Staff Welfare Association in collaboration with Kerala University Library released the Kerala University Library Staff Directory on 30th May 2026 at the Library Hall, Kerala University Library. The directory is a comprehensive publication containing details of the serving and retired staff members of the Library. It serves as a valuable reference source and reflects the rich legacy, contributions, and collective journey of the Kerala University Library community.

New Leadership at Kerala University Library Sri. Premlal K.P. has joined as University Librarian (i/c) and Dr. Manjusha M.R. has joined as Deputy Librarian at the Kerala University Library. The Kerala University Library extends its warm congratulations and best wishes to Sri. Premlal K.P. and Dr. Manjusha M.R. in their new roles.

New E-Resources added to our academic Collection

Kerala university Library is started the subscription of the following E-Resources.

1. Prowess – CMIE
Prowess is a database of the financials of Indian companies. Annual Reports of companies are the most important source of this database. The Prowess database contains additional data sourced from the stock exchanges. ProwessIQ provides time-series data beginning 1989-90. The database is updated on a continuous basis. Prowess – CMIE

2. Economic Outlook- CMIE
Economic Outlook is designed to inform you of the near and medium-term outlook of the business environment in India. It does this through short, fact-focused, opinion-free, jargon-free analytical articles; regular, comprehensive quantitative forecasts; a large database of government and alternative databases; and more. Economic Outlook- CMIE

3. Lexis-Nexis
LexisNexis is a leading international research database that offers authoritative information on law, business, news, finance, company profiles, industry reports, and current affairs. The resource enables students, researchers, and faculty members to access reliable and up-to-date information from a vast collection of global sources, supporting high-quality academic research and learning. Lexis-Nexis

4. ROMPP – Thieme
One of the world's most comprehensive and authoritative database in chemistry and related sciences. ROMPP provides reliable and up-to-date information on chemical substances, reactions, analytical methods, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, environmental science, and many other scientific fields. ROMPP – Thieme

5. Indiastat
Indiastat is a comprehensive socio-economic statistical database providing access to a vast collection of data on India. The platform offers reliable statistics covering areas such as population, economy, education, health, agriculture, industry, environment, and governance.

ONOS Outreach Programmes
The ONOS Outreach Programme aims to create awareness among researchers, faculty members, and students about the resources and services available through the One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) initiative. The programme provides guidance on accessing scholarly e-journals and databases, helping the academic community make effective use of national research resources.

കേരള സർവകലാശാല ലൈബ്രറിയുടെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച 'അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര വനിതാ ദിനാഘോഷവും സുഗതകുമാരി സാഹിത്യസൂചി പ്രകാശനവും ശ്രീമതി. ബിന്ദു വി. സി., മാനേജിങ് ഡയറക്ടർ, കേരള സംസ്ഥാന വനിതാവികസന കോർപറേഷൻ നിർവഹിച്ചു. ഡോ. മിനിദേവി, മുൻ വകുപ്പ് മേധാവി, ലൈബ്രറി ആൻഡ്‌ ഇൻഫർമേഷൻ സയൻസ് വിഭാഗം, ഡോ. ജയശ്രീ, ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി ലൈബ്രറിയൻ, ക്യാമ്പസ്‌ ലൈബ്രറി എന്നിവർ ആശംസ പ്രസംഗം നടത്തി. സർവകലാശാല ലൈബ്രേറിയൻ - ഇൻ - ചാർജ് ശ്രീ. അനിൽകുമാർ ആർ. അധ്യക്ഷനാ യായിരുന്നു.

കേരളപ്പിറവി ദിനാഘോഷം - കേരളീയം 2025
കേരള സർവകലാശാല ലൈബ്രറിയുടെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ 2025 നവംബർ 1 ശനിയാഴ്ച കേരളീയം 2025 എന്ന പേരിൽ കേരളപ്പിറവി ദിനാഘോഷം വിവിധ കലാ സാംസ്കാരിക പരിപാടികളോടെ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു.
